I still have the bat I got in 1966 (?) It has Al Kaline's name and signature stsmped on it. I remember all those bats waving in the air, the bleachers looked full of matchsticks. Whenever a Tiger got up to the plate, we all chanted "We wanna hit ! We wanne hit ! " banging our bats on the ground ! Leave a Reply. |
