| HOFer # 61: George Brett Years Played: 1973-1993 Elected To The HOF: 1999 Best Known For: Being the first player to win a batting title in three different decades (1976, 1980, 1990). Brett was also the first player to flirt with a .400 batting average since Ted Williams did it in 1941, finishing with a .390 average in 1980.
